Patient features are described for patients (including PDF downloads) in our Patient FAQs. Once a profile is created for a patient with his/her name, email address and date of birth, the patient can download the Twine app via the welcome email generated when the coach created the profile or directly from the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android).
Note: If the patient does not have a smartphone, he/she can access Twine through a compatible web browser on a computer (app.twinehealth.com).
Tip: Ask all patients to turn on push notifications (this allows for reminders and messages to be sent as notifications) and automatic app updates (ensures the latest updates are automatically available to the patient).
Twine’s patient app provides patients with four main functions:
completing health actions
sending and receiving messages,
monitoring progress, and
viewing calendar appointments
COMPLETING HEALTH ACTIONS
On this page, the patient checks off health actions as he/she completes them by selecting the empty circular icon next to the health action.
SENDING AND RECEIVING MESSAGES
The messages page is where a patient can read and send messages to their coach.
The progress page displays the progress made toward each health action in the plan.
VIEWING CALENDAR APPOINTMENTS
The calendar page displays all scheduled calendar appointments along with appointment details.
